Permissions fees are $60 a page for text and $90 a page for tables and charts. Nonprofits are exempt from fees, but a permissions request form still must be submitted and approved.

Note: According to the "Fair Use" doctrine of the copyright law, the Guttmacher Institute does not require formal permission to reproduce material from In Brief, Issues in Brief, Facts in Brief, Research in Brief, or State Policies in Brief. However, we do ask that you include a citation that gives full credit to Guttmacher. Please make sure you reference the material following the example below:
